Airshow schedule and program
We will publish the detailed airshow schedule and program on this site when it is ready! We're constantly optimizing the program as to make the show as fascinating as possible – and during the entire day, from start to finish. The easiest way to make sure you don't miss anything is – to arrive early, and to leave late :-) The airshow display acts in the air and on the ground will start around 08:30, to last until about 17:30.
Friday / Saturday schedule differences
Many of the display acts will be the same on Friday and Saturday. Depending on planning and availability of the acts, some acts may only fly on Saturday, others only on Friday. One thing is for sure: both days will be a terrific show!
Acts only shown on one day:
Only Friday: Claude Nicollier (in the VIP area), Robair paragliders.
Only Saturday: Swiss Army Parachutes

Fly in, visiting aircraft
Please note that the airport is closed for visiting, non-participating aircraft! We simply do not have enough space on the ground.

Camping
There will be absolutely no possibility for camping, camper van and similar mobile homes within the premises of the Zigermeet. Please refer to https://stellplatz.info or other relevant online resources, should you want to camp around the Zigermeet.

VIP Parking
For your VIP-guests, a special VIP Parking and shuttle service is organized; please refer to the VIP documentation you will receive. There will be no other VIP parking for non-VIP visitors available. A complimentary shuttle service will be ready for all visitors arriving by car.

So, why is the "Zigermeet" called "Zigermeet"?
In early days, the airshows in Mollis were called "Flüügerchilbi" (something like "aviation party") or "Air Mollis". Pretty normal names for a special site and scenery… so we needed something special. The Glarnerland (the region) is also called "Zigerschlitz", from "Ziger", which is a specialty cheese only available in the region, and "Schlitz", for "very narrow valley". "Zigermeet" was actually invented by an airshow reporter, who published the name for fun in a respective journal. So, there was the name… welcome to the ZIGERMEET19!
